The Kosmides Family has been in the restaurant business since 1977 when Dimitri (the father) got his first job working as a fry cook and then purchasing his first Italian restaurant. Having grown up in a farming village in Greece, Dimitri knew the value of hard work, and quickly saw the value in owning your own business in the United States. Having a long love for food with family recipes that had been handed down to him from his parents and grandparents Dimitri continued to grow his restaurant business and has opened over 25 locations throughout the years. He managed to do so while spending most of his time in Greece to raise his two sons: Stefano and Yianni. The boys were taught the value of hard work early on by working in their father’s restaurants from a very young age. Every summer their vacation was spent in the back kitchen of a restaurant or in front of a register taking orders! While Stefano and Yianni were attending university, Dimitri sold his last restaurant and announced his retirement!
