Veronique Price is the owner of Antoine's Cafe. Her love of hospitality began at a young age of 15 working at her family's restaurants in France. Since then she has worked in every area of the restaurant industry. In 1991, she opened Antoine's Cafe serving classic American food with a French twist in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. In 2007 the family opened Café Mimosa, and her son Antoine took the rains having been raised in the family restaurants from France to San Clemente for over 13 years.
The name comes from the Mimosa plant. The French Province has the very floral tree, the Mimosa, which was the base for perfume. As the family thought about a name for the second restaurant location, Café Mimosa was obviously perfect. It encompassed the family roots from France, the beauty and floral elegance of the plant and what would be the signature brunch beverage… The Mimosa.
