Our story begins with two energetic and talented brothers, George and Nick, who saw a discontented restaurant industry that needed a recharge. They understood why fast quality food is important to people in the first place: to experience joy with the little things in life with those who matter most. The original Johnie's Coffee Shop on Wilshire and Fairfax in Los Angeles established George's authentic passion for American Diner cuisine. Running from 1980 - 2000, Johnie's Coffee Shop was the foundation in which the brothers' vision emerged.
