Initially we were working with the idea of producing the best authentic and traditional hand roll experience. Fresh, simple, and tasty – it was going to be a classic hand roll experience through and through. But, although delicious, we realized that launching another traditional hand roll bar was a concept that has been done before, done well, and done right. And, in a city with hundreds, if not thousands, of sushi restaurants, we knew that we had be a just little bit more than that, and what better time to do that than in these unprecedented times. To challenge the status quo and elevate the community with a truly distinctive hand roll experience, we decided to turn ROL into a “contemporary” hand roll bar.
