Many years ago, Arianna Niccola Smith was taken to Tea by some of her closest friends. They were so enchanted by the experience, they made it their favorite spot whenever there was a special occasion. Arianna then invited her mom Claudia and sisters Shannon and Lisa to have Tea. It became a wonderful place to have quiet, enjoyable conversations and let the afternoons slip away. Claudia and her daughters became so delighted with the concept of Tea that they began to dream of having their own Tea House. All they had to do was convince Allan, the father and husband. He was not at all interested until they began dragging him along. He soon saw the merits and the uniqueness of the Tea concept. It became evident immediately to the Niccola family how important a place conducive to building relationships could become in the lives of people. A special place where their guests could enjoy each other’s company in a quiet, genteel setting. This would indeed be unique, relevant and healing in today’s stress filled society. The story then continues, from finding the perfect location, having the support of so many family and friends along the way, to where we are today – all along maintaining the same mission statement from when the doors first opened at the Tea House:“Building relationships, one cup at a time…”
While times have changed and years have passed, the dream lives on with Damian, the Niccola’s grandson, who has been involved from the very beginning. His wish remains the same for every guest that enters the doors – that your time with us recharges your soul, nurtures your relationships with friends and loved ones, and that you leave here with beautiful memories to cherish for a lifetime.
